Faith Night

At POSC we recognize and celebrate the importance of truth. One reason for this is that truth sanctifies us. As Jesus said in John 17:17 (ESV) Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

This passage also teaches us that God’s Word is truth. 

 

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 

 

Since all Scripture is breathed out by God this means that all Scripture is God’s Word and that it equips us for every good work.

 

One vital way Scripture equips us is by building our faith! 

Romans 10:17 (ESV) So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

 

We believe this passage literally! That simply by hearing the word of God our faith is increased! 

 

That’s why we have launched Faith Night! On Thursday evenings at 6:30pm we will be reading from the word of God aloud for all to hear. We are inviting everyone to come hear the Word of God and have their faith increased!
